The short version: You must cancel before your renewal date. If you cancel on or after the renewal date, you will be charged for the next period and no refund will be issued for it.
Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month (your "renewal date"). A cancellation requested before the renewal date will prevent the next charge. A cancellation requested on or after the renewal date will take effect at the end of the newly-started billing period — the charge that just processed is not refunded.
Before renewal date
Cancellation processed. No further charges. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.
On or after renewal date
The renewal charge has already been processed. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the new billing period. No refund for the period just billed.
To cancel your subscription, email us at hello@newsletr.ai from your account email address. Include your newsletter slug (the part of your URL after newsletr.ai/) and your cancellation request. We will confirm cancellation within 1 business day.
Email timestamp is used to determine whether your request arrived before or after your renewal date. We recommend cancelling with at least 24 hours of buffer before your renewal to avoid any ambiguity.
We do not prorate or refund unused time remaining in a billing period. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain full access through the end of the period at no additional charge. See our Refund Policy for the limited circumstances under which a refund may be considered.
If your account began with a promotional or trial period, the trial terms communicated at signup govern the initial period. Standard cancellation terms apply for all subsequent billing cycles.
